the floral dress

I remember falling in love with floral dresses when I was 13 years old, I can thank aerosmith for that. When I saw Alicia Silverstone in her floral baby doll dress and flannel (doc martin boots) in the music video cryin, I fell in love, it became a look I have sported often the past 16 years, such 90´s style. Over the years I have collected quite a few styles of floral dresses, short baby doll, long flowy, the figure hugging type. What I have learned is all women look so wonderfully feminine in a floral dresses. I wear my dresses with cardigans, jean jackets, vests, leather jackets, flats, boots, hats. You can style it so many ways to dress up or down and it always makes me feel great. I have worn floral dresses too many first dates with great results. I think it is a great outfit for a first date.

Make up essential

One of the first tricks I ever learned when I started out modeling was the trick of the white shimmery eye shadow.
Till this day, no matter what make-up trend has passed I still always swear by my shimmery white. This is also a trick I have taught all my girl friends and they too have stuck by it.
Its the easiest thing to do; Simply apply white shimmery eye shadow at the inner V corner of your eyes. This should be the last shadow you put on. Oh and use a brush, its so much easier and give a more subtle and controlled result.
This will make your eyes pop and it will enhance your eyes so much more.
I will show you 3 different pictures from random days where I wear my white nylon in my inner corner, I have always sworn by my mac eyeshadow in nylon.

I think showing you guys random pics are better than modeling pics. I want to give tips on the everyday make up things. I always hate it when I look in magazines and see really glammed make-up and hair pics knowing it takes hours to get such results which we normally dont have. OK so they are party pics but still, it took me like 3o minutes.

You might not notice much, but thats the point its suppose to be subtle and just make your eyes look bigger and and dooey like.

Here I blended well with the eyeshadow and my whole eye socket area under my eye, still making sure shimmer spots in the inner area.

Sometimes I will drag the line further like an eyeliner but underliner to enhance the effect, play around with it.
Here I just dabbed it in the corners of my eyes and because of the shimmer, the flash from the camera will pick it up and enhance your eye. My best friend, Nikki, has done the under line technique.

fashion soulmates: Lizzy Jagger

Yesterday I posted my style icons Anita and Pattie, as you might notice anything affiliated with the Beatles or Rolling Stones is where my fashion sense goes.
When it comes to rock spawns I am convinced that Elizabeth Jagger (daughter of Mick and Jade) is my fashion soul mate. Her style is so identical to mine, it don´t hurt we have the same long curly hair hair and love sporting red lips. Lizzie has what I like to call a rock-elegance style or rock-ele. Yes I named that style myself. Sienna can be boho-chic , Lizzie and I = rock-ele. Extremeley feminine, a bit classy yet always with a touch of rock. Her face is always so eleganttly done and she brings rock and roll soul to all the clothes she wears. True Tambourine fazhion.

Here is Lizzie

Here is me.

The answer is yes, I love love making picture collages in case you havent noticed. Its my thing...

my styleicons

My favorite people in fashion history is Anita Pallenberg and Pattie Boyd. I LOVE ANITA!!!
I constantly find inspiration from them. I think my love for Pattie has much to do with the fact she was married to the most gorgeous man ever (in my eyes), George Harrison. Such a beautiful man. But if I could have someones closet I would want all the clothes Anita Pallenberg wore in the 60´s and 70´s....she was also with Keith another one of my favorite men

wish list

I love leather pants, so rock n roll. Finding the right pair is like searching for a perfect partner, impossible to find. I been hunting for my dream leather pants for years. Black, low cut and slim fit

flower power

My favorite little extra accessory is flower clips in my hair. I swear every time I wear a flower clip I get a compliment, especially from the men.
I think it gives them a great opportunity to flatter you when you are out.
Its a great conversation starter when a cute guy says ¨nice flower.¨ So not only does it make you look wonderfully feminine and adds that little extra to the outfit, it s also a great pick up trick. Flower clips are cheap and you can make them yourself as well, using fresh flowers, fake...all flowers are pretty in the hair. Even for a normal dull day at the office, a tiny little clip adds a oomph.

Harjuku fashion, Ko-ni-chi-waaaa

My girls dressed up in Harajuku fashion style for a theme party we went to.
I love how crazy you can go with this style, so much fun. I strongly recommend you and your girls have a Harajuku night and go out. Its like being 7 year old girls again, dressing in veils, garters, hello kitty, pink, kids plastic jewellery in bright colors, princess stuff mixed with anything your mind can come up with. My girls and I had so much fun and nothing beats a good girls night.

the hourglass figure dress

I am so delighted, I got my first email question. I received an email from pinkjellybaby
I'm a shorty (5ft2) and pretty curvy. I'm not quite an hourglass but i guess that's the closest description. So, I have arse, and tummy but a small waist and decent boobs. My question is: With this kind of figure, can you wear tight, form fitting dresses? Is it hot to show off curves or is it just a bit silly?

DO NOT BE SILLY.
Showing off curves is so empowering for a woman to do.
Women who show off their curves look so sexy and feminine because they look confident.
When I took time off modelling 5 years ago and worked in music telly, I gained weight and I was a size 12. For someone who have been a size 4 it was quite a difference. I was so self conscious of my hips and ass, so I know how uncomfortable it feels to wear something tight in the beginning.
Its something you need to get over.
When curvy women hide their figure behind layers, makes them look like a bag of potatoes.
The thing most curvy women do wrong when they dress up is hide and draw attention to the wrong area. Like me I would tie scarves around my waist to cover the arse, making me look even worse. You want to concentrate in high waist and not low waist.
I learned how to dress by wearing

Soft, clingy, flowing fabrics
Low to medium-low necklines
Dresses with defined waistlines

If you want to wear a tight fitting dress, which I think is beautiful.
Think open neckline , low v necks, shoulder straps to emphasise the breast and neckline.
Make sure its a tight waist and that it goes in just under the breasts.
A woman with an hourglass figure and a large bosom sometimes tries to hide the fact that she does, in fact, have a large bosom. However, when one wears the proper bra, and the proper type of blouse or top, one can actually seem slimmer and less large.
The dress length should come to your knees in length.
Wear high heels, pumps looks amazing with these tight knee length dresses.
I made a little collage of women I think are just beautiful showing off their curves to give you some inspiration, all the above I think would look great on you PJB.
Think Scarlet Johansen, America Ferrera, Salma Hayek, Drew Barrymore Catherine Zeta Jones, Kate Winslet. Look at what they wear on red carpet events.
If you need to wear a jacket, a bolero jacket or any jacket with short waist line looks very good.
Of course in the winter a beautiful coat looks good on anyone.
For daytime casual wear, American apparel has some amazing dresses like this.

Hope this was help!

The Veronica Lake

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Veronica Lake hair, if I could, I would have hair like this everyday.
Every woman looks so classy and beautiful with Veronica lake hair.
I do it when I go out for special occasions.
It is not really hard to get the look.

You can get this look by using rag curlers (this way you can do this over night and sleep with the curlers if your hair looses curls easily)
- I usually use a 3/4
inch curling iron, having a friend to help is good.
-part your hair your desired way.
-Start at the nape of the neck and wrap the rest of hair as you gradually work yourself to the top.
-Curl your whole head, after each curl, a great tip is to pin the curls using your fingers rolling the curls, pinning it to your head until everything is done, this is to keep the shape of the curls.
This way you can prepare hours before and walk around with the rolled up hair. You can do your make up in the mean time.
-Make sure all the hair is going in the same direction
making it a repetitious pattern.
-when done brush the hair with natural bristle hair brush or wide tooth comb.
-Finish off with aerosol spray

Young looking skin

My mom forced me to take my vitamins and omega 3 since the age of 6. It became a habit I have since then stuck by till this day. Taking vitamins will do wonders if you want to keep your skin looking young. There are sooooo many to choose from. You need your vitamins, buying a bottle of multivitamins will be good for health and skin. Omega 3 is also something I just need, just get it.

One more thing that will make your skin GLOW is almonds. I snack on almonds all the time.
If you eat a handful of almonds everyday for 2 weeks I can guarantee that you will notice your skin glowing.

flash back fashion

Mom sporting her own design, a jumpsuit, back in 1985.
How 80´s isn't the concept of matching your jumpsuit, scarf and mushrooms all light tan colors??? Gotta be a fashionista when you wear this going mushroom plucking in the mountain

my beauty bag: saltwater spritz

This is on my must have list when it comes to my beauty bag. Saltwater spritz gives you nice beach hair and is perfcet for frizzy, wavy or limp hair. Get the hair damp and use salt water in a spray to bring out the wavy curls. Salt spray will do amazing things to your hair. It adds life to your hair giving you natural beach curls. So try spritzing or spraying a little salt water on already damp hair, scrunch it and then let it air dry. Scrunching it while it is wet will give it volume and randomness. Since most hair has some sort of natural wave, the salt spray will bring it out. There are many good brands out there but my fave is the one from Toni and guy, it smells
heavenly.

I have wavy hair, thanks to my spritz I can make it look more fun

conceal those eyes

Concealer...a very important relationship for a woman.
I swear by my Bobbi brown kit. There are days this is all the make up I will put on before I go out the door. The Bobbi brown corrector, concealer and concealer brush.

Bobbi brown make up is one of my favorite brands, they make your skin look perfect.
I always do this step. Start with eye cream NOTE: Every woman should use eye cream. SERIOUSLY. With the concealer brush I first apply the corrector under my eyes starting on the inside. I switch between dabbing with brush and finger. Then apply the concealer. It should always be 1-2 shades lighter than your foundation. Finish off with powder. Bobbi brown has great videos on how to apply concealer

Another great product is Benfits realness of concealness. I LOVE my little kit and a very nice price as well.

suck my kiss

one of my FAVORITE looks is matte cherry stained lips, makes me look like I been sucking face all night long. I love wearing red lipstick but on it can sometimes be a bit too much for day wear.
Stained berry lips is a great alternative.
It looks best face au naturel, nude shimmery eye shadow and slight eyeliner do get dooey eyes.

How to apply:
Use your fingers! You got to use your lipstick as if it was a lip balm container. dab your finger on the lip stick then DAB your lips. DO NOT rub like you apply lip balm.
You dab dab dab dab and please use some force while dabbing, by doing this you speed up your lips blood circulation which adds redness to your lips. Dab till your lips are covered.
You may if you want gently press your lips on tissuepaper for that extra matte look.
To take this look up another level use benefit benetint liquid and apply it just on the middle of your lips.
Of course you could always just drink some red wine....

My favorite: MAC Viva glam in red, Este Luader pure color long lasting lipstick in rouge longue tenue, este lauder pure color crystal orchid.

get the look

My gorgeous friend Paula sporting a really fun look, simply done by violet colored lipstick and white eyeliner.

White eyeliner really make your eyes pop. I use allot of white eyeliner on the wet crease. What Paula has done is first to apply black eyeliner a very think line around the eyes, again very thin line, finishing with the white liner along the line of her upper lid.

Sheizer, I need to learn anatomy talk to make more sense of this.
The white crystal earrings adds the cherry on top.

my beauty bag

This is THE BEST cleansing oil I have EVER used, i been using it for 10 years now.
It can make even the most smokey black eyes clean in seconds.
Its good for you skin and your skin feels amazing after that.
Shu Uemura

Introduction

So I got a bright idea after Ms.R left a comment on a of post asking me about hair color.
After answering the question the epiphany came to me.
It´s time that I gave back by giving advice from my profession. I set up a new blog!

This is my contribution to the world (make Oprah proud)
Plus it gives me a swaggering excuse to put up pictures of myself.

I will confidently say I know what to wear for what event dates/dinners/jungle safari..

I can also offer the following
*hair tips/make-up/beauty tips. How to style and apply
*Conversation topics to have with your beautician as she is stretching out your vagina lips to wax off all your pubes.
*What shape dress to wear to show off your best asset
*how to get different looks
( the runway look of winter 2009 is White porcelain skin, violet pink lips, cream/shimmery eye shadow in light yellows and skin warming colors, and let your brows grow)

Do feel free to spread the word on this blog as I am just starting, but want to help women and feel this is an area I can actually say I am an expertize...sort of.

Initally this was a blog where I had a mission to post what i wore today everyday. I failed to update after day one, obviously.
But its good to have a place dedicated to all my model beauty tip secrets and discoveries.
